Call for Papers: 3rd Pan IIM World Management Conference on “India: The Next Decade”; 16-18 Dec; IIM Indore


About The Conference: The third Pan-IIM World Management Conference at IIM Indore offers an exciting opportunity for professionals, academicians, policy-makers and thought leaders to share their contributions in various disciplines of management, preview current research, initiate collaborative efforts, and grow professional networks. Spurred on by the success of the conferences in Goa (2013) and Kozhikode (2014), the Indian Institutes of Management have once again come together to create a forum where the best minds from India and across the world can map the future course of management thought and practice. The three day conference, organized with support from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, promises a rich mix of research presentations, invited lectures, workshops and plenary sessions. CALL FOR PAPERS: Melbourne International Business and Social Science Research Conference (MIBSRC) 2015 aims to provide an opportunity to academics and practitioners around the world to discuss and share the contemporary issues of business and social science research. The proposed conference provides an outlet for high quality research in all areas of accounting, , CSR, finance, economics, econometrics, education, information technology, Islamic finance and Sharia, law, management, marketing, social business and multidisciplinary.
 
CONFERENCE THEME: The broad theme of the conference is ‘innovation in research and research training’. Australian Academy of Business Leadership (AABL) recognises the importance of ‘innovation in research to promote publication excellence.

BEST PAPERS AWARDS AND BENEFITS: Best Paper Awards (value A$500) and one Best Student Paper Award (value A$300) from several tracks will be conferred at the conference. In order to qualify for an award, the author must submit a full paper to the conference and it must be presented at the conference. The authors of best papers will also get certificates.

CALL FOR PAPERS: The APCBSS Conference 2015 in partnership with the Journal of Developing Areas invites conceptual, theoretical, empirical, and experimental research papers and short communications for presentations in any field of business or social sciences at its upcoming international conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference is expected to disseminate knowledge and build network with global academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and to publish high quality papers in peer reviewed research outlets such as the JDA and AABSS journals. ABOUT: Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI), an ICSSR-recognised institute, is celebrating its 25 years in 2016. As part of the year-long celebrations, a series of seminars and conferences have been planned.
The organisation has produced some of the high quality research in the field of development economics and political economy since its inception in 1991, particularly in the context of Bihar. Some of the luminaries in the field of economics and social sciences, including Professor Amartya Sen, Professor Joseph Stiglitz, Professor Amiya Kumar Bagchi, Professor Barbara Harris-White, Professor Prabhat Patnaik, Professor Francine R Frankel, have delivered the institute’s Foundation Day Lecture in the past. 
We invite scholars to present a paper in the International Conference on Development: Experience and Theories. Abstract and your brief CV (1-page) can be e-mailed to:conference@adriindia.org by August 31, 2015. Please write ‘Abstract/Conference-1’ in the subject line and send your file as an attachment in the MS-Word (1997/2003) format. Please use Times New Roman in 12 point size, with 1.5 spacing while typing. We discourage hard copy submissions.
Upon selection, you would be required to send the complete paper by November 30, 2015.

About: The Centre for Studies in Society and Development, School of Social Sciences, Central University of Gujarat is organizing a Ten Day Research Methodology Course in Social Sciences (in English) for Ph.D. research scholars (30 in all) belonging to SC category. Applications are also invited from ST/OBC/Minority categories and women research scholars. However, their application will be considered only if required SC research scholars are not available. ELIGIBILITY OF THE PARTICIPANTS: Registered/enrolled Ph.D. Research scholars of any Indian University/Institute/College in any branch of Social Sciences are eligible to apply in the prescribed application form. M.Phil students and faculty members are not eligible for this Course. Candidate will be selected on the basis of (1) the strength of their research proposal (250 words in English) (2) stage of research (pre-data collection / fieldwork phase) and (3) first time applicants for Research Methodology/similar workshops.

Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) is organizing the 2nd Global Summit on Management Cases (GSMC 2015) during December 18-19, 2015 in association with ET Cases at Indian Institute of Management Raipur, India. This summit seeks to discuss cases in the various broad areas of business and management to highlight real challenges and incidents faced by corporate houses. This summit also aims to bring the scholars and experts together to discuss the practical and research issues related to teaching case studies. 

Following are the main highlights of this summit:
  • Panel discussion on case base teaching. Panel will comprise eminent business executive and renowned faculty.
  • Selected case abstracts will be published in The Economics Times.
  • Best Case Award: Four best cases will be awarded.
